About Makiko

 

Makiko is a London based interior designer with over 13 years of experience in high-end residential, commercial space, and education sector. Her passion for interior design has evolved from varieties of interests in art and design since childhood. Started classical ballet when 7 years old, learnt to play the flute, studied theatre management, costume design and spacial design in Tokyo before moving to the U.K. where she studied her degree in Interior Design and Architecture.  Growing up in travel-loving family, she has had travelled over 25 countries before she turned 30. 

 

With the experience of working for some of the most high-end residential projects both in the U.K. and abroad for high profile clients, Makiko enjoys bringing luxurious elegance to home but she also believes that anybody can achieve a well-designed & lovingly personalised home without breaking the bank. 

The functionality and simplicity lays as foundation of Makiko’s designs and she believes that happy home means happy life, your home should reflect your personality and your lifestyle.
